Ji-Dong Gu，香港大学副教授，武汉植物园客座教授，华东理工大学和浙江大学兼职教授。美国科学学会、美国化学会和美国微生物学会会员。现任《Microbial Ecotoxicology and Bioremediation》主编助理、《International Biodeterioration & Biodegradation》、《Environmental Geochemistry and Health》、《Ecotoxicology》和《Microbes and the Environment》责任编辑，《Biodegradation》、《Journal of Polymers and the Environment》和《The Open Proteomics Journal》等刊物的编委会编委。
